Draft for attorney review — not yet effective
This privacy policy is a working draft prepared for review by a Florida attorney. It is not published as an effective policy, and it does not claim compliance or certification that has not been independently established.
Last updated: draft — not yet effective.
1. Who operates this website
This website is operated by Seamless Attorney Services, a marketing and business-services company located in Florida. Seamless Attorney Services is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not represent consumers. It is not affiliated with The Florida Bar or any government agency.
References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Seamless Attorney Services. References to “you” mean a visitor to this website or a person who submits an inquiry.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed for the purposes described in this policy.
Information you provide
- Your name, and optionally a phone number and email address.
- Your Florida city and/or ZIP code.
- The category of your inquiry, an optional incident date, and an optional short description.
- Your preferred contact method, preferred language, and best time to contact.
- Your acknowledgment of our notice and any optional permissions you choose to grant.
Information we do not request through the inquiry form
- Social Security numbers or other government identifiers.
- Payment card or bank information.
- Medical records or detailed medical history.
- Photographs of identification documents.
Information collected automatically
Our systems may record technical information needed to operate the service securely, such as the date and time of a submission, the page or campaign that referred you, and basic device and browser information. We do not knowingly transmit the contents of inquiry forms to advertising platforms.
3. Why we collect information
- To receive, review, and respond to your inquiry using the contact method you selected.
- To maintain records of the disclosures shown to you and the choices you made.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, including fraud and abuse prevention.
- To meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
- To measure the performance of our own marketing in aggregate.
4. Consent records
When you submit an inquiry, we record the exact disclosure language shown to you, the version of that language, the date and time of your submission, the form or campaign source, and each choice you made. Optional permissions are presented separately, are never pre-selected, and may be withdrawn at any time.
Acknowledging this privacy notice is not authorization to disclose your information to a third party. Permission to contact you by email is not permission to call or text you. Each permission is treated separately.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- With your specific authorization. If you grant the separate optional authorization presented at submission, we may share the information you provided with the participating law firm category or identified recipients described in that authorization. That authorization is voluntary and may be withdrawn.
- Service providers. Vendors that host infrastructure, provide security, or support our operations, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Until an attorney-reviewed and internally approved workflow is in place, inquiries submitted through this website are retained for internal review only and are not transmitted to any law firm.
6. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to function and to understand aggregate usage. Where analytics are used, we configure them to avoid transmitting the contents of inquiry forms. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Data retention
We retain inquiry records, consent records, and related business records only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. A written retention schedule is maintained, and records are reviewed for deletion when the applicable period ends. Withdrawal of an optional authorization is recorded and does not by itself delete records we are required to keep.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information, including encrypted connections, role-based access controls, server-side authorization for sensitive actions, and audit logging of administrative activity. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Access to consumer inquiry data is limited to authorized personnel.
9. Your rights and choices
- Request access to the information you submitted.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal and recordkeeping obligations.
- Withdraw an optional authorization or ask us to stop contacting you.
- Ask questions about how your information is handled.
To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. Vendor processing
Vendors that process information on our behalf are selected with care and are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards. Vendor arrangements are documented, and vendors are not authorized to use consumer inquiry information for their own purposes.
11. Incident response
We maintain a written process for identifying, containing, investigating, and responding to security incidents. Where a breach affects personal information and notification is required by applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required.
12. Children
This website and the inquiry workflow are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors through this workflow, and inquiries involving a minor are not accepted through this form unless a separately reviewed process is implemented.
13. Applicable law
This policy is intended to be read together with applicable Florida and federal privacy requirements. We do not claim certification under, or compliance with, any framework that has not been independently verified for this business. This draft requires review by qualified Florida counsel before publication.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we revise the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Material changes affecting how we treat previously collected information will not be applied retroactively without a lawful basis.
15. Contact
Questions about this policy or your information may be directed to the contact details on our contact page. Business contact information will be published once configured.
